How does MatchMyCouch work? +
MatchMyCouch shows you movie and series cards one by one. Swipe right or press ✓ to add a title to your watchlist — swipe left or press ✕ to skip it. Use the filter menu to narrow down by genre, release year, or minimum rating.
What is Duo Mode? +
Duo Mode is a Premium feature that lets two users connect and swipe independently. When both you and your partner match the same movie or series, a shared match notification appears. All shared matches are stored in your account under Duo Matches.
What is the watchlist? +
Every time you swipe right on a title, it gets saved to your personal watchlist. You can access it from your account page. If you accidentally match something, you can remove it directly from the watchlist.
What do the streaming provider logos show? +
The logos show which streaming services currently offer the title in your selected country. Tap the ℹ️ button on a card to open the detail view with streaming information. The data is provided by TMDB and may change at any time.
Is MatchMyCouch free? +
Yes — the core functionality (swiping, watchlist, filters) is completely free and ad-supported. Premium (€2.99/month) removes all ads and unlocks Duo Mode.
How do I cancel my Premium subscription? +
You can cancel anytime from your account page. The subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial periods.
In which countries is MatchMyCouch available? +
MatchMyCouch is available across Europe. Choose your country on the start screen — this determines which streaming services are shown for each title.
Which devices does MatchMyCouch work on? +
MatchMyCouch is a web app and works on all modern browsers — on mobile, tablet, and desktop. No app download required.
